| New Pool and Garden for Casa dos Pinheiros |
| From October 2009 until February 2010 we have rebuilt the swimming pool and garden at the villa Casa dos Pinheiros. |
The beautiful new 10 x 5 m pool is perfect for all ages and is certainly an alternative to the beach - not to deep for the little ones and the no swimmers, but big enough to swim a lengh, enjoing yourself and having fun in the water. Plenty of new sun beds and parasols invite you to enjoy yourself in the algarvian sun and fresh air, hanging around the pool, reading a book or just live the "Dolce far niente" (The sweetness of doing nothing).
The reclaimed ground due to modifications of the open space is ideal for
playing ball games or rump around with your children or grand children.
Everything in the garden has been redone and we guarantee you'll spend far more time at the pool than you originally intended to. Due to the new, automatic roller cover system, the water temperatures go up to 29 degree and permit to use the pool all year around.
Why a Salt Water Pool?
Swimming in a mild saline solution is much like taking a shower in soft water. Generally, in a salt-water pool the water feels smooth, your skin feels smooth and many people feel more refreshed. Crystal clear water, containing very low levels of natural salt, looks and feels great.
Salt water pools used to be the exception, but now they are becoming a widely
accepted method of water treatment in swimming pools.
