Golfing in Algarve
| The Algarve’s golfing prestige is second to none, with 34 golf courses including some of the best and most dramatically located in Europe. |
| All are playable 365 days a year due to the benign winter season and there are several prime courses with in easy reach of our holiday apartments and villas. |
| The closest is Salgados, an 18 hole, par-72, described as having the feel of a Scottish course but with a touch of Florida, offering the highest number of water hazards of all the Algarve courses. The coastal layout offers challenge and excitement along with panoramic views. Prevailing winds blowing over the lowland areas of the course cause club selection to vary widely and demand a high degree of accuracy. The par-3 12th requires players to cross a lake by means of a long wooden bridge. |
