Beaches in Algarve
| The Albufeira area is principally famed for its superb beaches; dreamy expanses of white sand trimmed with spectacular golden cliffs, uniquely sculpted by a clear azure sea. |
| Praia da Coelha, an enchanting cove beach between colourful cliffs is only a five-minute walk from our holiday apartments and villas and offers superb bathing and pleasant walks. Also in the immediate vicinity are the splendid beaches of São Rafael and Praia da Sardinha with its amazing rock formations and dramatic waves. |
| Albufeira itself embraces a sublime sandy crescent comprising several magnificent beaches; Pescadores (Fishermen’s Beach), Inatel and others. Each is well served by beach-bars and restaurants and there is a full range of water activities on offer including sailing, water-skiing, windsurfing and scuba diving. |
| Praia da Oura and the beaches to the east of the city, e.g. Praia da Falésia and Praia da Santa Eulália, are popular family choices, meanwhile for quieter bathing, the coves westward towards the mesmerising ribbon of sand at Praia da Galé and Salgados are not to be missed. |
